This item is the online portion (Part 1) of the BLS Provider (Heartcode BLS) Online Course. To complete the certification, students must still complete the skills practice and testing sessions (Part 2 & 3). You can purchase the complete BLS Provider Online package by using the link below. This product has been updated with new science from the 2020 Guidelines for CPR and ECC and replaces the previous version.

Access codes will be emailed within 24 hours when orders are placed between 8:00am–5:00pm EST Monday–Friday. If order is placed on Friday after 5pm EST, code will be emailed Monday morning.
The American Heart Association (AHA) recognizes that healthcare providers have knowledge and skills acquired from prior CPR training and years of patient care, but finding convenient ways to maintain those skills or gain re-certification can be challenging. The new Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) Online Renewal course is part of AHA’s new eLearning program and represents the cognitive portion (Part 1) of this blended learning course for Healthcare Provider Renewal Certification. Combined with a Skills Test (Part 2), the BLS HCP Online renewal is an ideal option for the healthcare provider who has previously taken a BLS course and would like to easily obtain a new BLS Provider eCard.
How does the BLS Online Renewal work?
A student can purchase a BLS Online renewal key from LifeSavers, Inc. Once purchased, the student will receive a key number via e-mail within 24 hours. Once the student enters the online key into the HCP online web-site (provided via e-mail) the student will have six months to complete the online portion of the course. Once the student has completed the online portion, a certificate is produced. The student will take this certificate to any American Heart Association training center for a skills test. Upon successful completion of the skills test, a certification card can be issued. Students must complete the sills test within 60 days upon passing the online portion.

It was great to get the classroom part on-line to do at your own pace. The skills test was easy to set up and take. Great for me because I am busy with work and school and needed the certification right away.
